Allyson McDermott is arguably the world’s leading authority on conserving, recreating and hanging historic wallpapers. The Allyson McDermott studio has created bespoke papers for many of the finest houses in the world. Designs from the painstaking renovation of Chinoiserie papers for The Royal Pavilion and Sudeley Castle have been reproduced as bespoke papers and fabrics available to order.

Allyson’s studio is one of the last remaining block printing studios in Europe and preserves many associated crafts including formulating historically correct paints. The combination of heritage techniques with with advanced digital processes makes the Allyson McDermott studio one of the world leaders in the creation of truly artisanal and historically accurate wallpapers.
